Installing UC500 License

Here is how you install a UC500 License

     Index 1 Feature: uc-user
        Period left: Life time
        License Type: Permanent
        License State: Active, In Use
        License Count: 8/8/0  (Active/In-use/Violation)
        License Priority: Medium

 Step 1  Go to Cisco.com/go/license and register your PAK

Step 2 Copy the license file you get to the flash of the UC box

uc540#copy tftp: flash:
Address or name of remote host []? 192.168.10.2
Source filename []? FHK1123456.lic
Destination filename [FHK1123456.lic]?

Step 3: Install License

uc540#license install flash:FHK1123456.lic
Installing licenses from “flash:FHK1123456.lic”
Installing…Feature:uc-user…Successful:Supported
1/1 licenses were successfully installed
0/1 licenses were existing licenses
0/1 licenses were failed to install
uc540#

Step 4: Verify

uc540#show license
Index 1 Feature: uc-user
        Period left: Life time
        License Type: Permanent
        License State: Active, In Use
        License Count: 16/16/0  (Active/In-use/Violation)
        License Priority: Medium

There are other ways to install your license, one via the Configuration Assistant, or even directly <Call-Home Document>
